Get Ready to Race!
Over the weekend of the 20th to the 22nd of October, 2017 the Gold Coast changes gear and gets ready for one of the biggest parties of the year. The V8 Supercars will come racing into town for yet another battle of skills on one of the world’s toughest street tracks with The Castrol Edge Gold Coast 600.
The Track
The Gold Coast circuit is a 2.96 kilometre man made tracks, mainly utilising the streets around the Gold Coast. It is a concrete barricade lined track that never disappoints in delivering some of the best carnage seen all year!
The Thrill
With the V8 Supercars reaching speeds of over 265 kilometres an hour, this spectacular racing weekend is not for the faint hearted. Also staged during this weekend is the Pirtek Enduro Cup Final.
Tickets
There are a wide range of tickets ranging from $30 for general trackside admission for one day. There are currently a range of early bird tickets available but only until mid September, 2017, which can save you up to $30 for a 3 day adult pass. There is also an awesome range of Fanstand and Grandstand tickets on sale. Just remember, tickets on the day will be much more expensive!

Nightlife
However the fun doesn’t stop after the race, that’s when the Gold Coast comes alive. Also as part of the racing festivities Adelaide’s Hilltop Hoods with their own unique style of hip hop will be playing at a concern proudly sponsored by Jim Beam.
